Compassionate counseling for individuals, couples, and families.
Welcome! I’m Kaazmi, a licensed clinical social worker with nearly 15 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate the complexities of mental health and personal challenges. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in Health and Mental Health from the University of Toronto. My practice is rooted in empathy, cultural sensitivity, and person-centered care, ensuring each client receives tailored, individualized support.
I specialize in working with clients facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, marital issues, postpartum challenges, and more. As a provider of trauma-informed care, I am committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to address and heal from past traumas. Using therapeutic approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I aim to foster self-awareness, resilience, and positive change. Whether you're seeking support for yourself, your relationship, or your family, I’m here to guide you every step of the way in a professional, warm, and compassionate environment.
I prioritize creating a warm and supportive environment for my clients. My therapeutic approach blends compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based practices to support children, teens, and families. Through play therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I create a nurturing space for clients to explore emotions and develop coping skills tailored to their needs. I provide parents with guidance on postpartum mental health and Triple P parenting strategies, emphasizing early intervention and family involvement. By fostering a supportive partnership between clients and their families, I aim to promote growth, resilience, and lasting positive change.
